The problem
Finding a consultant is only the beginning. Booking a session, discussing the work, meeting online and arranging payment can each require a different tool. Mangerine brings those steps together for clients seeking advice and consultants building a practice.
The approach
The product follows the relationship from discovery through to payment. Consultants create bookable profiles, while clients can arrange sessions, exchange messages and meet by video within the same platform. Web and mobile experiences support both sides of that journey.
The build
- —Consultant onboarding takes new users from registration to a profile clients can book.
- —Video sessions use Agora's WebRTC infrastructure, with in-app messaging for ongoing conversations.
- —A jobs board gives clients and consultants another way to post opportunities and find work.
- —Stripe and PayPal support payments, while Google OAuth provides an additional sign-in option.
- —A business dashboard supports day-to-day management, with Sentry monitoring application errors.
The outcome
Mangerine launched across web and mobile, bringing consultant discovery, communication, video sessions and payments into one product.
